Bradford Lord Mayor At Our Storage Site For Appeal Draw

Our Bradford storage site were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Dale Smith to their site on Tuesday of this week in order to conduct the draw for 2 VIP tickets to the Capital One Cup Final at Wembley Stadium that have been provided by us here at the store room, and in support of the Lord Mayor's favourite cause - the 'Sprinkle Sunshine' appeal. Dinner for two with the Lord Mayor was also up for grabs!
The Lord Mayor thoroughly enjoyed his visit to the site. He chatted with some of our customers and even had one of them offer to shine his chain for him! Mr Smith was well aware that our site in decades past was the Baird's factory and he himself even worked for the company, although not in the same building, in his younger years.
Right - in terms of the winner of the big prize - this was selected at random by the Mayor, ably assisted by Allen Lackenby, our Bradford storage Manager and Carl Horsfield, the store room's Regional Manager. The winner was Ms Rada Mijailovic and when Carl made the call to her to tell her she had won her excitement could be heard all over West Yorkshire!
